Overview
Aeraphim CPA respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the website only. Information you provide as a client under an engagement letter is covered by that letter and by the professional confidentiality rules that apply to certified public accountants.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. When you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, optional phone number, topic, and message you enter. When you book a consultation, Google Calendar collects the name, email address, and any notes you provide and shares them with us as part of the booking.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps, to keep the site running and secure.
We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or social media pixels on this site. We do not sell personal information.
How we use information
- To respond to your message or consultation request.
- To schedule, confirm, and hold meetings.
- To decide whether to enter into an engagement and to prepare an engagement letter.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To comply with legal and professional obligations.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run this site. Each receives only the information needed to perform its function.
- Vercel hosts the website and generates server logs.
- Formspree receives contact form submissions and forwards them to us by email.
- Google Calendar powers the appointment booking page and sends confirmation emails.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on the site, which involves your browser requesting font files from Google.
These providers process information under their own privacy policies. We do not share your information with anyone else except as required by law or to protect our rights.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies of its own. The embedded Google Calendar booking page may set cookies controlled by Google; see Google's privacy policy for details.
Retention
Messages and booking records are kept as long as needed to respond to you and evaluate a potential engagement, and afterward as required by professional record-keeping rules. If no engagement results, we delete or anonymize inquiry information within a reasonable period.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, or tax documents through the contact form or by email. Once we are working together, we will provide a secure portal for sensitive documents.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to correct or delete the information you have sent through the site, or ask what information we hold about you, by using the contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor requests as those laws require. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
